Getting Started

Bharat Studio helps Indian shopkeepers build a digital catalogue, sell via POS, and share with customers on WhatsApp and Instagram — all powered by AI. This guide walks you through signing up, creating your workspace, and setting up your first product in under 10 minutes.

Sign up or log in

Go to app.saastify.ai. Tap "Get Started" and sign in with your Google account, or use your email and a password. Your account is free to create — no credit card required.

Create your workspace

On first login you will see the "Create Workspace" screen. Enter your shop name (e.g. "Rajesh Saree House"), choose your primary currency (INR is default), and optionally upload your logo. Tap "Create" to continue.

Complete the Get Started wizard

The get-started wizard guides you through 5 quick setup tasks: fill in your company info, add your first product, set up your brand portal, activate POS, and connect WhatsApp. Each task shows a progress tick when done. You can skip any task and return later.

Add your first product

Tap "Add Product" (the large + button at the bottom of the screen on mobile, or "Add Product" in the sidebar). Choose Camera to take a photo of your product, or Gallery to pick from your device. The AI will detect the item type and suggest a title and description within a few seconds.

Review and save the product

Check the AI-suggested title, price, and description. Edit anything that does not look right. Set the Status to "Ready" and tap "Save Product". Your product is now in the catalog.

Activate POS (optional)

Go to POS in the sidebar. If POS is not yet active, tap "Activate POS" and choose a warehouse (or accept the default). This enables the cart, checkout, and order management features.

Set up your Brand Portal

Go to Brand Portal in the sidebar. Tap "Create New Portal". Follow the 4-step wizard: add your brand info, choose which products to show, pick a colour theme, and publish. You get a shareable link like yourdomain.saastify.ai/shop/your-name.

Share with customers

Tap the WhatsApp icon next to your portal link to send it to customers. Alternatively, open any product → Share → WhatsApp to share individual products. Customers can browse, enquire, and place orders directly from their phone.

proTips

Take product photos against a plain white or light-coloured background — the AI gives better results and marketplace uploads are more likely to be accepted.
Fill in your Company Settings (Settings → Account → Company) before anything else — your business name and address appear on every invoice.
The get-started wizard on the home screen tracks your progress. Completing all 5 tasks unlocks a 30-day free trial of the Plus plan.
Install Bharat Studio as a PWA on your phone: on Android tap "Add to Home Screen" in Chrome; on iPhone tap Share → "Add to Home Screen" in Safari.
If you have existing product photos on your phone, use Bulk Import to add them all at once instead of one by one.
