Language Settings

Bharat Studio supports 12 languages including 8 Indian regional languages. Switching language changes the entire app interface and tells the AI to generate product content in that language too. The language selector is available in both the top header bar and the sidebar footer.

Open the language selector from the header

Look for the globe icon (🌐) in the top-right corner of any page. Tap it to open the language picker dropdown.

Open the language selector from the sidebar

On mobile, scroll to the bottom of the sidebar. On desktop, the sidebar footer always shows the current language abbreviation (e.g. "EN", "HI"). Tap it to open the language picker.

Select your language

Tap any language in the list. The app interface immediately switches to that language — no page reload needed.

How translations affect AI content

After changing language, any new AI-generated product title, description, or enrichment copy will be produced in the selected language. Existing product text is not automatically re-translated; tap the AI wand icon on each field to regenerate in the new language.

Switch back to English

Open the language selector (globe icon) and choose English from the list. The interface returns to English immediately.

proTips

•If your customers speak Hindi, switch to Hindi before generating AI listing content — descriptions written in Hindi convert better on WhatsApp.

•The language setting is per-browser session. If you open a different device or browser, the language may reset to English.

•You can set a default language permanently in Settings → Appearance → Language so it persists across sessions.

•For marketplace exports (Flipkart, Amazon India), keep the language as English or Hindi — these platforms require listings in those languages.
